CEETTAR General Assembly: election of a new Management Committee
The CEETTAR General Assembly 2023 took place in Grieskirchen, Austria, on 1 June 2023. Twenty-four participants from ten different countries met for a three days programme, from 31st May to 2 June.
During the meeting of the General Assembly, CEETTAR President Klaus Pentzlin invited participants to express their views on the current challenges faced by the business. Gerard Napias from the French organisation FNEDT reminded that contractors’ job is: a man, a machine, a knowledge”. Recruiting and stimulating skilled employees is key to success. Among other discussed topics, the green agenda came as the leading change for the following years.
After a detailed presentation of the work done by the Standing Committees, participants elected the new CEETTAR Management Committee, composed of Klaus Pentzlin (BLU, Germany), Marie-Sophie Pujol-Fort (FNEDT, France), Guus Altena (CUMELA, the Netherlands), Simo Jaakkola (Koneyrittäjät, Finland), Bent Juul Jørgensen (DM&E, Denmark) and Johan van Bosch (Landbouwservice, Belgium). The newly elected Management Committee nominated Klaus Pentzlin as CEETTAR President and Johan van Bosch as CEETTAR Treasurer. Congratulations to all of them!
The event continued with guided tour of the Pöttinger machinery manufacturing plant (www.poettinger.at), of the Westtech premises (www.westtech.at, producers of the famous Woodcracker machine for forestry), as well as two contractors firms: VLÖ’s President Manfred Humer’s and Peter Kircher Lohnunternehmen.
