19 July 2018. This new brochure provides information on the development of the land-based entrepreneurs’ profession within a certain number of member states as well as an European analysis of the sector and the challenges it may face.
By providing services for farmers, landowners andthe rural communities, contractors really do help to meet many of society’sneeds, including the supply of food products and wood as a primary material foruse in construction, as well as energy, the paper industry, rural developmentand maintenance of natural areas. It is therefore time for us to shed somelight on contractors and what they do. This is the aim of the first edition of this European guide.
